CREEDMOOR Mr. Kevin Lance Phillips, 53, of Creedmoor, died on Monday, April, 24, 2017.
Mr. Phillips was born in Durham. He attended Granville County Schools. He was an avid Carolina fan; loved to work on cars and also loved animals. He once drove a wrecker truck for a while before getting into construction. He was preceded in death by his father, Norman A. Phillips.
He is survived by his mother, Sue Ann Perry Tripp and her husband, Lewis B. Tripp; one sister, Gina C. Chappell; niece, Christina A. Harris (Kenneth); nephew, Nolan A. Stanhope; great-nephew, Noah O. Harris and numerous cousins and other loving family members.
Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Chaplain Dean Padgett will officiate.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., before the service at Hudson Funeral Home. Flowers are acceptable. Online condolences can be made at www.hudsonfuneralhome.com.
