WAKE COUNTY- Kimberly Ann Shepherd, December 21, 1960- August 20, 2014, Wake Forest, NC.

Kimberly Ann Shepherd,  53, died at her home. Kimberly was the daughter of the late Charles D. Shepherd. Kim had been employed at IBM and later at Duke University Medical Center. She was a 1980 Graduate of Southern High School in Durham, NC.

She was raised and resided in Durham, NC most of her life prior to moving to Wake Forest.

Kim enjoyed Beach trips, dancing, gardening, nature, animals, music and family gatherings. She was known for her kindness, and a sense of humor, a child at heart, and a very giving person.

Surviving are her Mother and Step-Father, Darlene and Theron Few of Mebane, NC; her twin sister, Sharron Shepherd, also of Mebane; sister Lisa Tysor (Cliff) of Graham, and their son, Seth J. ; Diana Y. Hall (Johnny) of Wake Forest and her son Brandon L. Hall of Raleigh; and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her father and only brother, Charles D. Shepherd II; her paternal grandmother, Mae Sue Ellis Harward and her maternal grandmother Mary S. Jones.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 26^th at Hudson Funeral Chapel with The Reverend Kevin Baker, Pastor of First United Methodist Church of Graham, officiating. Burial will be in Brier Creek Memorial Gardens.
