Larry Eugene Holderfield

HOLDERFIELDWAKE FOREST Larry Eugene Holderfield, 71, quietly left this earthly home to gain his eternal one on Monday, January 31, 2011.He was a lifelong resident of Wake County. Larry diligently worked to provide for his family through his work as a commercial painter with Willis Lee Paint and Wallpaper Company, for numerous years and then at various contractors in commercial sheetrock. Larry was a simple man by worldly standards but he loved his daughters and that was enough.Larry leaves behind his two daughters, Janet Ray and her husband, Jackie and Laura Holderfield all of Durham. He has one surviving brother from his large family of nine siblings which is David Holderfield and his wife, Barbara of Raleigh. Larry has numerous nephews and nieces who reside throughout Wake County and other areas.Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Sykes Cemetery on New Light Road in Wake Forest. Rev. Donnie Cash will officiate.Family and friends may visit at the home of Jackie and Janet Ray. Flowers are acceptable.
