Larry Wayne Miles

DURHAM- Mr. Larry Wayne Miles, 75, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020.

Mr. Miles was born on April 23, 1945 to James and Lurlene Miles in Durham, NC. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Airforce and retired from IBM as a programmer. He was an active member in his church, Grace Reformed Baptist Church in Mebane, NC, and loved to give candy to the kids at church. Mr. Miles enjoyed gardening, grilling, and reading. His greatest joy was his grandchildren. Larry will be deeply missed by all blessed to have known him.

Mr. Miles was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lurlene Miles, and his sister, Gaye Miles Holt. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Pearce Miles; daughter, Rebecca Miles Miller; sister, Shelley Miles Harmon; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Benjamin, Brandon, Matthew, Mikayla, and Timothy Miller.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 11:00 am at Grace Reformed Baptist Church in Mebane. Officiating will be Pastor Stuart Johnston.
