Larry Ross “Cheesie” Paschall

DURHAM- Larry Ross Paschall “Cheesie”, 75, of  Durham passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2015. He was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Herman L. Paschall, Sr. and Lillian Colclough Paschall. Cheesie was Co-Owner of  Paschall’s Grill. He loved Nascar and  was an avid Duke Basketball fan. Cheesie was known as a jokester. He loved his little dogs.Cheesie will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife and best friend Hilda Paschall; step-children, Jerry Huffman, Linda Honeycutt, Ricky Rigsbee and David Rigsbee; sister, Betty Jean Paschall Snow.

He is survived by his stepsons; Joe Rigsbee (Wanda), Donnie Rigsbee (Kerri Lee), Randy Rigsbee (Pam); brothers, Herman Paschall, Earl Paschall (Sandra), and William “Bill” Paschall; sisters, Judy Paschall, Donna Hylton and Deborah Williams; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Pastor Jack Moody will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Jarrad Rigsbee, Joe Rigsbee, Johnta Hanna, Carl Moore, Jr. Richardson and Chris Huffman.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home of Joe & Wanda Rigsbee, 308 S. Mineral Springs Rd. Flowers are acceptable. Online condolences can be made at www.hudsonfuneralhome.com.
