LeRoy Hoffman

DURHAM-Mr. LeRoy C. Hoffman, 77 of 1015 Virgil Rd. died on Sunday, May 22, 2011. He was the son of the late William Harvey Hoffman and Nellie Hair Hoffman. Mr. Hoffman worked for Durham Public Schools as Director of Maintenance and Operations before retiring, he was a member of Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie Piekaar Hoffman and 1 brother Harvey Hoffman.He is survived by his wife Ruby Sykes Hoffman of the home; 1 son, Charles B. Piekaar and wife Joyce of Durham; 1 daughter, Tina Piekaar Radford of Durham; 1 brother, Billy Hoffman and wife Sue of Clinton. 1 sister, Louise William of Autryville; 3 grandchildren, Dylan Radford, Misty Piekaar, and Michael Piekaar.Funeral services will be held at Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Frank Rice will officiate. Entombment will be at Woodlawn Mausoleum.The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
