Lewis Calvin Rigsbee

DURHAM Mr. Lewis Calvin Rigsbee, 72, of Durham, died on Saturday, May 5, 2012.Mr. Rigsbee was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Percy and Elizabeth Pennington Rigsbee. He was a research technician for Duke Medical Research. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by two sons, Lewis Thomas Rigsbee of Oxford and Robert Lee Rigsbee of San Antonio, Tex.; one sister, Annie Ruth Medlin; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Donnie Cash. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home of Lewis Thomas Rigsbee, 2684 Rigsbee Trail in Oxford. Flowers are acceptable.
