Lillian Clark Matthews

DURHAM  Mrs. Lillian Clark Matthews, 85, of Durham, died on Tuesday, March 17, 2015.

Mrs. Matthews was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Jesse Charles Clark and Iola Jane Emory Clark. She retired from Royal Home Family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Allen Matthews.

She is survived by her son, Mark A. Matthews of Durham; stepson, Michael Allen Matthews of Johnston County and brother, Donnie Clark of Durham; grandsons, Michael, Christopher, Jeremiah and Jason Matthews.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 19th at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev. Johnny Hewett will officiate.
