Lillie Frances Keith Fletcher

DURHAM- Ms. Lillie Frances Keith Fletcher, 84, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019.
Ms. Fletcher was born on October 23, 1935 to Elmer and Linda Keith in Durham, NC. She worked in the loss accounting department at Crum and Forester Insurance Company for many years. Lillie was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church, the Primetimers, Jolly Group, and the Truthseekers Sunday School class. She was also a member of the Bethesda Ruritan Club and Lynn’s Crossroads Community Fellowship Club. Lillie loved the outdoors and to garden, where she grew roses to give to neighbors and friends. She worked in the rose garden at Bethesda Baptist Church for many years.
Ms. Fletcher was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Linda Keith; and son, Gary Eugene Fletcher. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Marie Fletcher of Hillsborough, NC; brother, James “Jim” Franklin Keith of Durham, NC and Limestone, TN; grandson, Justin Paul Fletcher; great-grandchildren, Meghan and Ella Fletcher; nieces, Michele Keith-Nunn, and Marla Pearce; and cousins, Bobby Turner, Carolyn McFarland, and Vance Rogers.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Reverend Hugh O’Shields. Pallbearers will be Van Lilly, Chris Christy, Jock Smith, Rick Riggsbee, C.L. Ashley, Talmadge Layton, and Jerry Husketh. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
