RIGGSDURHAM Mrs. Lillie Louise Mayton Riggs, 75, of Durham, died on Monday, July 19, 2010. Mrs. Riggs was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late B. Mayton and Viola Clements Mayton. She was employed by Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company and Clem Rice Hair Salon. She was a member of Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church.She is survived by her husband, Preston Riggs; daughter, Diane Orr (Stephen);two sons, Douglas Riggs (Missy) and Michael Riggs (Sheryl); two brothers, Wayne Mayton and Bill Mayton; sister, Marie Williams and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Frank Rice. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Flowers are acceptable.
