Lillie Walthall

Lillie Taylor Evans Walthall, 80, of 3311 Redwood Road, died Sunday, November 7, 2010, at Pettigrew Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Walthall was a native of Oxford. Before retiring, she was a nurse’s aide at Community Care. Mrs. Walthall was a loving mother. She loved her family and will be missed dearly. Mrs. Walthall was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Walthall; a brother, Samuel Evans; and two sisters, Lizzie Williams and Daisey White. Surviving are two daughters, Katie Nevils and husband, Randy, of Durham and Carolyn Meredith and husband, Thomas, of Roxboro; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hudson Funeral Chapel, officiated by Pastor Jay Pegram. Burial will be in Creedmoor City Cemetery.
