Linda Ashley Hoffmann

DURHAM- Linda Ashley Hoffmann, 76, passed  away on Saturday, September 19, 2015. She was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Elmo Maynor and Zona Mae Sherron Maynor.  Linda was a secretary for the VA Hospital. She grew up at Olive Branch Church and now attends Fellowship Baptist Church. Linda was a member of  Ladies Bible Study Group at Providence Baptist Church. She loved gardening and visiting, especially sharing her roses with others.

She is survived by her husband Ted Hoffmann, sons, Thomas Hugh Ashley, Jr. of Durham; and David J. Ashley of  Durham; daughter, Leah Beth Ashley of Durham;  step-sons, Tweed Hoffmann and Todd  Hoffmann;  grandchildren, Lauren  Ashley Tyson and Cameron Ashley.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church. Dr. Rick Finley will officiate. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. until at Hoffmann’s Soda Shop. Flowers are acceptable or donations can be made to Bethel Colony of  Mercy, 1675 Bethel Colony Rd., Lenoir, NC 28645. Online condolences can be made at www.hudsonfuneralhome.com.
