Linda Clayton Fletcher

TIMBERLAKE- Mrs. Linda Clayton Fletcher, 67, went home to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her loving and precious family and friends after a long and courageous battle with cancer, Thursday, October 11, 2019 at her home.
Mrs. Fletcher was born November 17, 1951 to the late Riley and Virginia Clayton in Roxboro, NC. She was the secretary for Metalcraft Fabricating Company. Mrs. Fletcher enjoyed crafting, interior decorating and shopping. She had a love for animals. Mrs. Fletcher loved going to the beach and mountains especially Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She would always put a smile on your face.
Mrs. Fletcher is preceded in death by her parents, Riley and Virginia Clayton; brother, Riley “Scooter” Lee Clayton, Jr.; granddaughter, Taylor Elizabeth McFalls.
Mrs. Fletcher is survived by her husband of 29 years, Doug Fletcher of Timberlake, NC; son, Mark Todd McFalls (Tonya) of Durham, NC; step-daughter, Beverly Mullholland of Timberlake, NC; grandchildren, Tanner McFalls and Charles Douglas Glenn; great-grandson, Stephen Glenn.
Pallbearers will be David Jacobs, Todd Blalock, Chuck Hollbrook, Mark Hamric, Stuart Griffin and Anthony Martin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tony Weaver and Dale Watson.
A visitation will be held Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2019 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Hal Dickerson and Rev. Jeremy Quist. Entombment will follow at Markham Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Plantable bushes, trees and flowers are acceptable as the family plans to make a memorial garden in her memory.
