KYLESCREEDMOOR Linda Faye Kyles, 66. of 645 Amsterdam Lane, died on Monday, October 11, 2010.Linda retired from GTE after 32 years of service as an Operator. She was a member of the Tabernacle of Life Christian Church. She enjoyed sewing and crafts and loved working around the house. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Thelma Walker Gregory and brothers Charles David Gregory and Marshall Willard Gregory. She is survived by her four nieces and a nephew that she raised and cared for; Leah Gregory, Rachel Gregory, April Overton, Michelle Gregory and a nephew, David Gregory, Jr.; one brother, Joe Gregory of Durham; two sisters, Jane Rhodes and Cookie Matthews both of Durham and all of her many nieces and nephew that she loved.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Tabernacle of Life Christian Church. Rev. Roby Turner and Rev. Johnny Thornton will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home of her sister, Cookie Matthews, 1126 Midland Terrace in Durham. Flowers are acceptable.
