Linda Mays Anderson

HARRISBURG Mrs. Linda Ruth Mays Anderson, 72, of Harrisburg, NC , died on Wednesday, January 20, 2016.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Durham to the late Cooper Jackson Mays and Vera Marie Klapp Mays. She was a homemaker and enjoyed going to the beach. She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Stephanie Pokryfky and her sister, Susan Denise Mays.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Anderson; two sons, James Anderson and wife, Jennifer of Creedmoor, Scott Rice and wife, Linda of Roxboro; daughter, Tracy Rice Hoff of Farmington Hill, Mich.; 9 grandchildren, Gracelyn Anderson, Gabriel Anderson, Josh, Colby and D. J. Rice, Eddie, Michael and Jimmy Pokryfky and Amanda Garner; 11 great-grandchildren, Madison, Christina, Heaven, Daniel, Trinity, Henry, Stella, Josh, Nick, Adrian and Riley.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Johnny Hewett will officiate. Entombment will be in Oak Grove Memorial Park Mausoleum on Monday,January 25 at 11:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be T. J. Smith, Josh Rice, Stevie Morris, Dave Whitney and Gabriel Anderson. Honorary pallbearer, Carl Mays.
