Linda Sumner Parrish Henderson

TIMBERLAKE Mrs. Linda Sumner Parrish Henderson, 67, of Timberlake, died on Wednesday May 3, 2017.
Mrs. Henderson was born in Kinston. She retired from GTE as an Engineer in 2005, after over 40 years of service. She loved working in her yard, but most of all spending time with her family. She deeply loved God as her Lord and Savior. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Ronald Henderson; her father, Albert Sumner and sister, Cheryl Sumner.
She is survived by her mother, Ann B. Sumner; twin sisters, Lula Lee and Lola Brown; sisters, Theresa Sarvis, Connie Bennett, Gayle Barker and husband, Dennis, Rita Stephenson; brothers, Donald Gower and Albert Dale Sumner and wife, Wylma and numerous other loving nieces, nephews and family members.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Poole Family Cemetery. Chaplain Tom Hehenberger will officiate. Pallbearers will be Joseph Farrell, Jeff Norris, Richard Hamilton, Coby Rice, Dale Woodlief and Casey Truckner.
