LuAnn Champion Yarboro

GRANVILLE CO.- LuAnn Marie Champion Yarboro, 76, of Granville Co. passed away on Friday, February 19, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Elijah and Alpha Champion. LuAnn raised her children by herself, loved gardening and flowers. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Yarboro; brothers, J.N. Champion, Tommy Champion, Winky Champion, Earl Champion and Billy Champion; sisters, Faye Kanas and Catherine Lunsford.
She is survived by sons, Donald Wayne Yarboro and wife Lavone of Stem and Larry James Yarboro of Wake Forest; daughters, Anna Marie Daley and husband Mark of Durham and Rebecca Williams and husband Aaron of Creedmoor; brother, James Champion of El Paso, Texas; sister, Mary Tolley of Durham; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Reverend Johnny Hewett will officiate.
