Lynda Anne Rigsbee Honeycutt

DURHAM Lynda Anne Rigsbee Honeycutt, 55, of Durham, died on Monday, April 30, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer.Lynda was born in Durham to the late Joseph Young Rigsbee and Hilda Matthews Paschall. She owned and operated Paschall Cafe for 19 years. She attended Leesville Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Christy Honeycutt and a brother, Jerry Huffman.She is survived by her son, Jason Honeycutt of Creedmoor; one daughter, Casey Honeycutt of Durham; five brothers, David Rigsbee, Joe Rigsbee, Donald Rigsbee all of Durham, Ricky Rigsbee of Hillsborough, Randy Rigsbee of Durham; her step-father, Larry Paschall and 6 grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jack Moody. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Joe Rigsbee, Donnie Rigsbee, Randy Rigsbee, Ricky Rigsbee, David Rigsbee and Bobby Moorefield. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. And other times at the home of Joe Rigsbee, 308 S. Mineral Springs Road. Flowers are acceptable.The family would like to thank Cindy Buck for the care that she gave Lynda during her illness.
