Mallie Matthews Weaver

Mrs. Mallie Marion Matthews Weaver, 94, passed away March 11, 2023.

Mallie was born December 10, 1928, in Durham, NC to the late Matthew and Dorothy Matthews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Weaver; and sister, Violet Maddry.

Mrs. Weaver was a member of Rose of Sharon Baptist Church for many years. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.

Mrs. Weaver is survived by her children, Eric Weaver, Susan Masingo (Lew), Pamela Weaver (David Garwood), and Vickie Ocasio-Arroyo (Tom); 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brothers, Freddie Matthews (Wanda) and Philip Matthews; sisters, Becky Couch and Jean Lorenzo; as well as other loving family members and friends.
