Marcelo Magat Quiambao

DURHAM- Marcelo Magat Quiambao, 74, of Durham passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016. He was the son of the late Inocencio Aguilar Quiambao and Marta Pineda Magat. Marcelo was a member of Evangel Assembly of God for 18 years. He loved to cook, fish and spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a loving and responsible husband, father and grandfather. He was also a great servant of the Lord. He will be missed by everyone blessed to have known him. He was preceded in death by a daughter and a brother.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Susan Samson Quiambao, children, Jenny Ruckey and husband Curtis, Richard Quiambao and wife Michelle, James Quiambao and wife Merle, Joy Jeroso and husband Alexander, Percival Quiambao and wife Evangeline, and Erwin Quiambao; two brothers; one sister; grandchildren, Johanna, Jasmine, C.J., Rielle, Marcelle, Joshua, David, Josiah, Paula, Jethro, Maika, and Noah.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at the Evangel Assembly of God. Officiating will be Rev. J.B. Ellis, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 2, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 12 Noon at the Evangel Assembly of God. Online condolences can be made at www.hudsonfuneralhome.com.
