Margaret Christian Ray

HILLSBOROUGH- Mrs. Margaret Christian Ray, 71, passed away at her home, Friday, June 19, 2020.

Mrs. Ray was born March 15, 1949 to the late Clifton and Willie Christian in Durham, NC. She was a waitress at Mario’s Restaurant for 16 years. Mrs. Ray loved rockhounding, collecting rocks and fishing. She will be remembered as loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Ray is preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Willie Christian; brothers, Edward Christian and Timothy Christian.

Mrs. Ray is survived by her husband of 51 years, Brad Ray of Hillsborough, NC; son, Kenneth Ray of Florida; daughter, Christy Price (Lee) of Burlington; grandchildren, Cassidy Ray and Cody Turner.

Pallbearers will be Cody Turner, Tyler Herndon, Shane O’Brien, Ricky Fletcher, Nobel Christian and Timmy Ray.

A visitation will be held Monday, June 22, 2020 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Markham Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Pastor Brad Williams.
