Marie Ellis Paschall

DURHAM- Ms. Marie Ellis Paschall, 91, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019.
Ms. Paschall was born on December 14, 1927 to Luther and Callie Ellis in Durham County, NC. She worked at Burlington Industries until she retired.
Ms. Paschall was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Olif Paschall. She is survived by her son, Samuel James Paschall (Donna) of Garner, NC; daughters, JoAnn Emmons of Durham, and Cindy Long (Harold) of Raleigh, NC; brother, Ray “Cat” Ellis of Durham, NC; sister, Elaine Medlin of Durham, NC; grandchildren, Shelly Leatham (Mike) of Durham, NC, James Emmons (Nina) of Durham, NC, Jeremy Patrick Gowan of Raleigh, NC, Alex Paschall of Greenville, NC, and Nick Paschall of Raleigh, NC; great-grandchildren, Bryant Emmons (Crystal) of Orange County, Alex Leatham of Durham, NC, Deckard Nolde of Raleigh, NC; and great-great grandchildren, Bryce and Hailey Emmons.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Ray Smith. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Alex Paschall, Nick Paschall, Bryant Emmons, James Emmons, Mike Leatham, and Alex Leatham. Honorary pallbearers will be the Adult Sunday School class of Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church.
