Marland Odell Crawford

CRAWFORDCREEDMOOR Mr. Marland Odell Crawford, 80, of 1648 Birch Drive, died on Tuesday, January 24, 2012.Mr. Crawford was born in Durham to the late William Riley Crawford and Lallie Odell Poole Crawford. He retired from the U. S. Army. He was a member of the VFW Post 7. He loved his family and was a beloved Uncle and Brother. He was preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Wayland Crawford and William Riley Crawford and 4 sisters, Evelyn Crawford, Eloise Crawford, Hazeline Blackwood and Frances Emory.He is survived by his sister, Bonnie O’Neal of Oxford and many nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Robert Jones. Burial will be in South Granville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from1 to 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home of Sam Emory, 2542 Conyers Road in Franklinton.
