Mary Ann Szczech

DURHAM- Mrs. Mary Ann Szczech, 77, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Mary Ann was born March 11, 1940 in Dickson City, PA.
Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Augustyn and Cecelia Yetzina.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband Richard W. Szczech of 51 years; daughter, Lynda Szczech husband, Peter Cornwell, and grandchildren, Jack and Lucy Cornwell; daughter, Nancy Szczech and husband, Kent Shelton; and her loving fur baby, Dexter “The Wonder Dog” Szczech, as well as numerous other loving family members.
Mary Ann was a warm and generous soul who put everyone’s needs before her own. Her heart was pure and genuine, and her love for her fellow man (relatives, friends, and strangers) was apparent in every interaction. She gave respect to everyone and radiated warmth. Her sense of humor was as bright, beautiful and large as the heavens. She will be so dearly, dearly missed.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
