Mary Jones

RALEIGH-Mrs. Mary F. Jones, 89, of Brighton Gardens in Raleigh, died on Sunday, January 2, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Robert Farrell and Exie Christian Farrell. She was preceded in death by her husband Russell Jones. She retired from Hecht’s as a Sales Manager. She was a member of Fletchers Chapel UMC, and active with the Young at Heart Senior Group and The Ruth Circle. She is survived by her two daughters; Brenda Geraghty (Kevin) and Nancy Recht (David) both of Raleigh, four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 12:00 noon at Fletchers Chapel UMC. Rev. Ron Snider will officiate. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12 noon, at the Church. Flowers are acceptable or donations can be made to Fletchers Chapel United Methodist Church.
