Mary Magdalene Carden Hudson

DURHAM- Mary Magdalene Carden Hudson, 81, of Durham passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Coy C. Carden and Carrie Morgan Carden. Magdalene worked as a waitress at Lynette’s for over 30 years. Magdelene will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by everyone blessed to have known her. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene P. Hudson; grandson, Christopher R. Chambers; and brothers, Thomas E. Carden and Rev. Billy M. Carden.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammie Chambers Dixon (Bobby) of Durham; grandson,William Joseph Chambers, great-grandchildren Brittni Nichole Chambers and Christian Hunter Chambers; brothers, Rev. Bobby Carden (Peggy), Don Carden (Sherri), Homer Carden (Berni), Jerry Carden and Tony Carden; sister, Brenda Walls (Reid).
Memorial service for Mary Magdalene Carden Hudson will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Pastor Ron Watts will officiate.
