Mary Ruth Rhoden

DURHAM- Mary Ruth Manuel Rhoden, 80, of Durham died on Saturday, September 20, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Dewey Manuel and Sudie Roberts Manuel. She worked as a receptionist for Durham Tech. Mrs. Rhoden was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She loved her family. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marion Bland and Doris Poole.

She is survived by son, Hank Rhoden (Lisa) of Durham; daughter, Rhonda R. Miller (Fred) of Hillsborough; Six grandchildren, Jennifer Mauer (Chris), Kelly Ward (Phillip), Erick Miller, Mary Mincey (Adam), Matt Miller, and Jack Rhoden, two great-grandchildren, Gabriel Ward and Katelynn Ward.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev. Tim Wheeler will officiate.
