Mary Watson

WAKE- Mary Rhodes Watson, 79, of Creedmoor died on Friday, December 16, 2011. She was the daughter of the late David R. Rhodes and Dora Barnes Rhodes. Mrs. Watson worked at Holt Elementary School in the cafeteria. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Malcom Watson. She is survived by three sons, Steve Watson, George Watson both of Creedmoor and Robert Watson of Timberlake; one brother, Wendell Rhodes of Bloomingdale; two sisters, Yetta R. Watson and Dora L. Britt both of Fairmont. Five grandchildren, Allison Guy, Andy Watson, Stacey Watson, David Azbill, and Christopher Watson, two great-grandchildren, Kennedy Guy and Corey Scott Rhimer.Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Kevin Dail will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Steve Keith, Bennie Fields, Wayne Copeland, Matt Fabian, Tim Addison and Jimmy Bass.The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 TO 6:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
