Mildred McGee Little

DURHAM Mrs. Mildred Arah McGee Little, 93, of Durham, died on Saturday, March 25, 2017.Mrs. Little was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Marvin W. McGee and Mamie A Moore McGee. She retired after over 30 years from Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a faithful witness and prayer warrior.She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Edwin Yates Little; two sons, Gary Y. Little and wife, Ruth A. of Raleigh and Kenton S. Little and wife, Kathy B. of Creedmoor; one daughter, Jennifer D. Little of Matthews, N.C.; sister, Gertrude Sykes and wife, Ed of Durham; seven grandchildren, Derek Ferrell, Jason Little, Ryan Little, Brent Little, Lori McCracken, Krista Kirschbaum and Sherrill Carson and fifteen great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Dr. Rick Finley and Rev. Jason Little will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
