Mildred Mickey Michael

DURHAM-Mildred L. “Mickey” Michael, 86, of Durham passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2012. She was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Luther Latta and Mamie Hunt Latta. Mickey was a loving wife and mother who raised three boys and was always thinking of others. She was much loved by her many friends, her students and all those at her church home, Grace Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of fifty nine years, Robert A. Michael, Sr., three sons, Bob Michael of Durham; Wayne and wife Carol Michael of Creedmoor and John Michael of Burlington; sister-in-law, Katherine Transou of Greensboro; one grandson, Brandon Michael of Greenville. Graveside service will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Maplewood Cemetery.The family will be assisted by Hudson Funeral Home.
