Linda Lou Currin

DURHAM Mrs. Linda Lou Currin, 71, of Durham, died on August 31, 2017.
Mrs. Currin was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late James William Currin and Bessie Inez Maynard Currin. She retired from Angus Barn as a waitress. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Durham and enjoyed spending time reading her Bible. She was preceded in death by Aunt Evelyn Currin
She is survived by her brother, Benny Lee Currin and wife, Phyllis of Durham; three nephews, Benny Lee Currin, Jr., Michael Ray Currin and Jimmy David Currin.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 4, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Creedmoor City Cemetery. Rev. Hugh O’Shields will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m., before the service at the cemetery.
