Nelson Eddie Wilson

DURHAM- Mr. Nelson Eddie Wilson, 80, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019.
Mr. Wilson was born on March 11, 1939 to William and Valara Wilson in Chatham County, NC. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1959 to 1962. He enjoyed working hard all of his life. Nelson loved to fish and tend to his garden each year. His favorite activity was riding his ATV at 80 years old. He will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Gilbert Wilson, Millard Wilson, and W.A. Wilson, Jr.; and his sisters, Irene Shaw and Clariene Kidd. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Peggy P. Wilson; his daughter, Renee “Michelle” Wilson; the son he never had, Tim High; and his sister, Violet W. Markham.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, October 8, 2019. Officiating will be Reverend Love Walls.
