Nina Cole Gardner

WAKE FOREST- Mrs. Nina Cole Gardner, 76, passed away, Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Hock Family Pavilion.

Mrs. Gardner was born March 1, 1945 to the late Brodie and Edith Cole in Durham, NC. She enjoyed shopping, jewelry and makeup. Mrs. Gardner will be remembered as a sassy loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gardner is preceded in death by her husband, James Gardner (Sonny) of 50 years.

Mrs. Gardner is survived by her sons, Richard “Rickey” Glenn Gardner, James “Jimmy” Gardner, Jr.; grandchildren, Gabrielle Mead (Charlie), Chelsie Carpenter (Ryan), Christopher “Scott” Gardner (Tori), Jessica Hunter (Gregory), Christopher “Cody” Gardner and Faith Gardner; great-grandchildren, Easton Hunter, Nolan Mead, Aubrey Gardner and Bailey Gardner; special companion, Candy.

Private services will be held at a later date.
