Nina Jannetta Rota

DURHAM Mrs. Nina Jannetta Rota, 91, a former resident of Durham, died on Sunday, December 6, 2015.
Mrs. Rota was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Pete Jannetta and Marie Assunda Jannetta. She retired from Durham Sandwich Company. She loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and enjoyed doing puzzles. She was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by her three daughters, Annetta Ford of Thomasville, Constance Johnson of Oxford and Susan Weaver of Cumberland, Pa.; four sisters, Maffalda Gooch, Ella Jannetta, Mary Morris and Philameana DiSantas; eight grandchildren, Martin Ford, James Ford, Joseph Rota Melissa Ford, Michelle Stokes, Nina Slemp, Amy Oglesby and Jennifer Oglesby; 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
