Nolie Crabtree Hopkins

MONROE Mrs. Nolie Crabtree Hopkins, 83, of Monroe, NC died on Monday, November 21, 2016.
Mrs. Hopkins was born in Durham, the daughter of the late Needham Bodie Crabtree and Nola Mae Ray Crabtree. She was Founder and Co-Owner of Pipes Etc. Tobacco Shop in Winston Salem for over 32 years. Nolie was an animal lover and most important was spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a wonderful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Willie Vernon Hopkins.
She is survived by daughter, Lisa Hendricks and fiancé Tom Capps; son, Craig Hopkins and wife, Debra; 3 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Hudson Funeral Home, 211 S. Miami Blvd, Durham NC on Friday, November 25, 2016 at 2 p.m. Rev. Greg Collins will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Flowers are acceptable.
