Norman Green Ferrell

Norman Green Ferrell, 81, of Durham, North Carolina, was born March 30th, 1941, and went to be with the Lord peacefully on November 12th, 2022, at his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Rufus and Virginia Marks Ferrell; paternal grandparents, John Green Ferrell and Lelia Magnum Ferrell; maternal grandparents James Edward Marks and Beatrice Rice Marks.

Norman is survived by his dearly loved wife of 41 years, Vickie McCorkle Ferrell, sons, Dwayne Ferrell (Pam), Roy Ferrell; daughter, Nerissa Deschamps (Rudy); stepchildren, Ricky Hall, Jan Fagala (Scott), and Stacy Hall Gobert (Roland);

brothers; Garland Rick Ferrell (Anne Marie), John Mark Ferrell; sisters, Phyllis Ferrell West, Immogene Ferrell Ragan Dixon (Homer), Candy Ferrell Finley (Harold); 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 5 nieces and nephews, 13 great nieces and nephews, and 1 great great nephew.

Norman was a devoted husband and loving father. He retired from Transcontinental Enterprises and enjoyed working on appliances over several years.

A visitation will be held Friday, November 18^th, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 19th, 2022, at 2 p.m.at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. The service is being officiated by Pastor Gerald Hodges.

Pallbearers will be Logan Langford, Terry wright, Roland Gobert, Scott Fagala, Rudy Deschamps and Caleb Ferrell.

Interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
