Ola Grace Herndon

DURHAM Miss Ola Grace Herndon, 78, a lifetime resident of Chatham County, died on Tuesday, November 15, 2011.Miss Herndon was born on July 11, 1933 to the late William “Will” T. and Lucy Darnell Herndon. She attended Bell’s School. She attended Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and Martha’s Chapel Christian Church. She is survived by her sister, Marie Herndon Thompson Culbreth of Chatham County, two nephews, Tommy Thompson and Russell Thompson; two nieces, Jeannette T. Ramsay and Janet T. Goldman and 8 great-nieces.A memorial graveside service will be held on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Martha’s Chapel Christian Church Cemetery, 2811 Martha’s Chapel Road, Apex, NC 27523, officiated by Dr. Harry Byrd.
