Olive Irene Sandiford

DURHAM Mrs. Olive Irene Sandiford, 97, of Durham, died on Wednesday, May 11, 2016.
Mrs. Sandiford was born in Guyana, South America to the late Charles Augustus Cummings and Agnes Elton Cummings. She was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. She had been a Jehovah’s Witness since she was 19. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sandiford, daughter, Laurel Sandiford, brother, Edward Dillon and sisters, Esther Cummings and Enid Cummings.
She is survived by eight children, Helmina Evadne Husbands and husband Doyle, Avril Thom, Melvina Mars and husband, Neville, Burget Sandiford, David Sandiford and wife, Barbara, Marva Sandiford, Ruth Ella Henry and husband, William and Annette Waterton, twenty one grandchildren and forty three great-grandchildren.
The service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the Junction Road Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.
