Pamela Ann Giles-Price

Pamela Ann Giles-Price, 72, of Youngsville, NC passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.  She was born on December 16, 1950, at Watts Hospital in Durham, NC to the late Abraham and Edith Rhew.

Pam worked for over 30 years at IBM in the Personnel Department assisting families in adopting children from all over the world.  She loved bringing these families together.  Pam was very dedicated to the many lives she touched. 

She enjoyed spending time with the love of her life, her husband Donnie.  They did everything together and traveled to so many wonderful places.  Pam loved people and always helped anyone in need whether buying them a meal at McDonalds or a bag of chips from the store.  She will be remembered as a hardworking woman who cared deeply about people, a wonderful wife and the best mother.  Pam will be missed by the many lives she was so affectionately involved with over the years.  “She was a woman who knew what to do and her shoes will be hard to fill.”

Pam is preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers.

She is survived by her loving husband, Donnie R. Price, Sr.; son, Dan Durwood Giles, II and other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 9, 2023, from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Hudson Funeral Home, 211 S. Miami Blvd., Durham, NC 27703

A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, April 10, 2023, at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 3712 Cheek Rd., Durham, NC 27703.  Officiating will be Rev. Hugh O’Shields.

Flowers are acceptable.
