Patsy Ann Pridgen

September 13, 1947 — August 9, 2012

Mrs. Pridgen was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Robert Holder and Betty Mae Tilley Holder. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. She was a hard worker and loved her family more than anything.She is survived by her loving husband, Bryant Pridgen; two sons, Rodney Turner and wife, Eleanor of Durham and Barry Turner and wife Kelly of Butner; one daughter, Tammy King and husband, Dennis of Raleigh; stepson, Brian Franks; one brother, Bobby Holder and wife Janice of Durham; 9 grandchildren , 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her love was endless for the people in her life. She was the backbone of our family. She will be greatly missed by so many people, both family and friends alike.Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Hopson Family Cemetery on Broach Road. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home of Rodney Turner, 1016 W. Trinity Ave. Flowers are acceptable or donations can be made to the Duke HomeCare and Hospice, 4321 Medical Park Drive, Suite 101, Durham, NC 27703.
