Paul G. Parker

Paul G. Parker, 78, passed away February 3, 2022, in Duke Regional Hospital.

Paul was born September 17, 1943 to the late Lilly Cannon Parker and Hughie Parker in Clinton although he lived most of his life in the Durham and Granville County area.  Paul was a self-employed carpenter all of his adult life.  He loved fishing and racing cars and go-karts. He served in the United States Army and trained dogs while stationed in Vietnam.

Paul is survived by his wife, Janie Parker; son, Tony Arnold (Joanna); daughter, Mechelle Bachelder; brother, Eddie Parker; grandson, Tripp Massengill (Brittany); granddaughter, Harley Adams (Jacob) and Best Friends, Donnie Cowart and John Taylor.

A visitation will be held Monday, February 7, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hudson Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 12:00 pm at Springvale Cemetery, formerly known as Clinton Cemetery, 503 W. Elizabeth St, Clinton, NC.   Officiating will be Mike Appel.

Flowers are acceptable.
