DURHAM-Paul Aster Teasley, 91, of Durham died on Saturday, July 28, 2012. He was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late George W. Teasley and Maggie Riley Teasley. He retired from American Tobacco Co. after 32 years of service as a machine operator. He was a member and deacon of Faith Baptist Church and attended Tom Tutor Sunday School Class. He loved to travel and fix things. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Janet Watson and Donna Sue “Susie” Allen.He is survived by his wife, Helen G. Teasley, two sons, Paul W. Teasley (Melinda) of Gibsonville; Roy E. Teasley (Debra) of Durham; two daughters, Phyllis Glasgow (Danny-Deceased) of Mebane; Betsy Faust (Tommy) of Pittsboro; one brother, Charles Teasley of Durham; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church. Officiated by Dr. Roger Wall and Rev. Tommy Faust. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. 1 hour prior to the service at Faith Baptist Church.
