MCNEILL, JR.ROUGEMONT Mr. Paul Wilson McNeill, Jr., 72, of Rougemont, died on Wednesday, June 15, 2011.Mr. McNeill was born in Cumberland County to the late Paul Wilson McNeill Sr. and Margaret Herndon Phillips. He retired after 24 years as a Machinist with Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company. He was a veteran of the U. S. National Guard. Mr. McNeill was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Atkins.He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara Ross McNeill; one daughter, Sandra McKeever and husband, Kenny of Wilmington; one sister, Joyce Edge of Fayetteville and two grandchildren, Keeley McKeever and Seth McKeever. Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, officiated by Rev. Floyd Jackson. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of choice.
