Peggie Mae Glisson

DURHAM- Mrs. Peggie Mae Glisson, 88, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019.

Mrs. Glisson was born July 9, 1930 to Dave and Juanita Stephens in Durham, North Carolina. Peggie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother.

Mrs. Glisson is preceded in death by her parents, Dave Stephens and Juanita Blackwell Pridgen; stepfather, Samuel Pridgen; husband, Harris William Glisson; son, Larry Glisson (Connie); brothers, Jerry, Billy, and Jimmy; sisters, Becky and Bobbie.

Mrs. Glisson is survived by her sons, Donnie Glisson (Martha) of Durham, NC, Barry Glisson (Judi) of Elizabethtown, NC; brothers, Sam Pridgen (Annette) of Durham, NC, Ronnie Pridgen (Linda) of Durham, NC, and Kenny Pridgen (Carrie) of Franklinton, NC; sisters, Kay Smith of Bahama, NC, and Joyce Poe of Stem, NC; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Reverend Casey Mursten.
