Peggy Clark O’Neal

DURHAM Mrs. Peggy Clark O’Neal, 93, of Durham, died on Wednesday, March 15, 2017.Mrs. O’Neal was a native and lifelong resident of Durham. She retired after 30 years with American Tobacco Company. Mrs. O’Neal was a member of Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed O’Neal, brothers, Bill, James and Wiley Clark and sister, Helen Waller.She is survived by her son, Steve O’Neal and wife, Penny of Timberlake; two grandchildren, Stephanie Parton and husband, Scott, Alexandra O’Neal; great-grandchild, Timothy Parton.Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Tim McCreight will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Ricky Oakley, Ronnie Oakley, Duane Clark, Jim Clark, Scott Parton and Timothy Parton.The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home of her son.
