Peggy Bowling Ferguson

DURHAM- Mrs. Peggy Bowling Ferguson passed away on January 5, 2021.

Mrs. Ferguson was born December 1, 19** to Edward and Euva Bowling in Durham, NC. She retired from the banking industry working in the loan processing department for many years. Peggy was a member of Angier Avenue Baptist during her early years and later a member of Bethesda Baptist Church for many years. She was currently attending Olive Branch Baptist Church. Peggy will be missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Ferguson was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Tom Ferguson; parents Edward and Euva Bowling; brother, Harold C. Bowling; and sisters, Ruby Bowling Carver and Doris Bowling Wallace.

Mrs. Ferguson is survived by her son, Rick Ferguson of Durham, NC, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. on Saturday January 9^th at Hudson Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Tim Wheeler and Reverend Hugh O’Shields. Entombment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Pallbearers will be Don Baker, Jeff Bowling, George Pearce and Ken Everhart.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Delmus Ferguson and Julian Ferguson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Olive Branch Baptist Church at 123 Olive Branch Rd, Durham, NC 27703, or to Duke Home Care and Hospice at 4321 Medical Park Drive, Suite 101 Durham, NC 27704.

Hudson Funeral Home will be observing social distancing for visitation as well as the funeral service, and asks everyone in attendance to wear a mask when entering the building.
