Mrs. Peggy “Jo” Allen Pate, 66, of Creedmoor, NC, passed away May 30, 2024, at Granville Medical Center. 

Mrs. Pate was born to the late Guy Winston Allen  and Shirley McLamb Allen in Durham, NC.

Mrs. Pate worked several years for Merrita Bread Company and later for Flowers Baking Company for over 10 years. Jo was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be missed dearly by her friends and coworker at Flowers Bakery Company. 

In addition to her parents, Jo  was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Wayne Allen.

She is survived by her husband Scott; sons, Christopher “Chris” Warren of Creedmoor, NC, Lucian “Tommy” Warren, Jr. of Raleigh, NC; step-daughter, Lauren Pate; sisters, Diane Allen Baker, Sheila Page and Deborah Rape (Kevin); grandchildren, Taylor Warren, Megan Warren and Brennon Warren; and 2 great children and step granddaughter Arabella Alonzo.

A visitation will be held Wednesday June 5, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday June 6, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. Officiating will be Reverend Hugh O'Shields.. Interment will be at Oak Grove Memorial Park.
