Phillip “Phil” Wayne Carver

DURHAM- Mr. Phillip “Phil” Wayne Carver, 53, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Duke University Medical Center after a long battle of cancer.

Mr. Carver was born November 11, 1963 in Durham, NC. He was a longtime self-employed contractor. He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Carver, Sr., and brother, Frank Carver, Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Jean Carver, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, 2 daughters, 6 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and loving Aunt Betty.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Mike Underwood. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
