Ralph Crossman

DURHAM-Ralph Horace Crossman, 79, died on Thursday, May 2, 2013. He was the son of the late Horace Crossman and Mildred Ehrhardt Crossman. He served in the U.S. Army, Dominican Republic. He retired from IBM after twenty six years of service as an Analyst. He was a member of American Legion Post 7 and Lynn’s Cross Road Ruritan Club, also enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He was also a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of forty eight years, Jacksie Ann Crossman, one daughter, Jill Elizabeth Crossman Levine of Wake Forest; two grandchildren, Ashleigh Levine and Courtney Levine. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Bethesda Baptist Church. Rev. Hugh O’Shields and Rev. Jacob Green will officiate. Burial will be in Raleigh Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be John Goss, Lewis Adams, Ernest Goodwin, John Ausley, Tommy Dempsey and Ronnie McCullen. Honorary Pallbearers will be BBC Steadfast Sunday School Group. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
