Randy Nevils

Randy Nevils, 64, of Stem, North Carolina passed on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Wake County, North Carolina on September 25,1959 to the late Robert and Margie Nevils.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Katie Nevils.

Randy worked as a Mechanic / Certified Welder for Duke power for over 32 years until his retirement in 2014. He was a longtime member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Durham, NC.

Mr. Nevils was a kind, caring and compassionate man who would never hesitate to help anyone in need. He was a humble man who enjoyed the simple things in life but some of the most important, family and the outdoors. From hiking trails at Falls Lake to working in his yard and caring for his chickens he lived life to his Fullest. Randy will be deeply missed by his family and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and an all-around family man.

Randy is survived by his daughter, Sherry Johnson (Arvin); son, Donnie Bryant (Denise); sisters, Cindy Gibson (Allen) and Jennie Cannon; grandchildren, Renee White (Travis), Stacy Blake (Keith), Katlyn Johnson (Chase), Hillary Hudson, Aubrey Johnson and Serenity; great grandchildren, Grayson and McKenzie Blake; Emma and Sophia Hudson, and numerous other family members and friends. Randy was excited about having two new Great Grandchildren that are due December of this year and March of next year. And his beloved and faithful dog (Tippy)

There will be a graveside service at a later date .
